All guests are required to sign a rental agreement

In compliance with the City of Indio ORDINANCE NO. 1665 section 37.011 OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS ESTABLISHED; It is required that the primary overnight and daytime occupant of the short-term vacation rental to be an adult 21 years of age or older

 Terra Lago HOA Rules:

• Any and all fees and citations incurred to guests by HOA will be the guest's responsibility

• It is required that ALL guests’ full names must be registered prior to arrival
• Guests will be asked to provide valid photo ID upon each entry into Terra Lago community
• Individuals who are not registered will be turned away at the gate without exception.

> Nuisance:
• Quiet hours: Sunday-Thursday between the hours of 9pm -8 am , Friday-Saturday between the hours of 10pm - 8am
• Remember to be courteous of noise, loud music and drive slowly through the community
• There is patrolled security in the community and guests could receive a fine of upto $750/day, which guests will be responsible for and/or be asked to leave without a refund

> Parking:
• Please contact the host prior to booking if you will be bringing more than 2 vehicles
• No overnight street/curb parking from 11pm - 7am. Our community has a parking area adjacent to the guard house, which is an approximately 11-minute walk /less than 5 minute drive from the house. A safelist pass for street parking is also available, but it is subject to availability.
• The HOA prohibits parking of commercial vehicles between the hours of 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM. This includes vans with 10 or more passengers, vehicles with logos or signage, RVs, and trailers.
If you need to park a commercial vehicle overnight or during restricted hours, there is a designated parking lot just outside the community gate, approximately an 11-minute walk from the house. Violators will be fined or towed
• Vehicles parked on the street should be oriented on the direction of traffic flow.

> Swimming Pool:
• Swim at your own risk at all times. No Exception.
• Swimming pool SAFETY RULES: No diving, running, food , glass , rough play and NO PETS.
• PLEASE SUPERVISE ALL GUESTS, particularly children. Ensure that everyone using the pool and spa is a proficient swimmer. Please note that there is no lifeguard or pool monitoring service on duty.
• For those desiring POOL Heat, please notify the host at least 8 hours in advance. The POOL heat option is priced at $80 per day, payable in advance, with a minimum booking duration of two consecutive days.

> Hot tub/ SPA:
• SPA heat is complimentary. We heat up the spa 100-101 degrees. If lower temperature is desired, please let the host know so spa temp can be reprogrammed remotely.
• For the safety of all guests, the spa is pre-programmed for 90-minute sessions. If you wish to extend the time for the jets and heat, please use the spa control. However, we strongly recommend taking breaks to cool off and rest for a safer and more enjoyable experience.
• Enter and exit the Hot Tub slowly.
• Do not bring glass in or near Hot Tub.
• Do not use alcohol, narcotics, or medications.
• Elderly individuals and pregnant women should consult a doctor before using the spa.
• A safe temperature for a hot tub for kids is 98°F or lower, and children should not spend more than 15 minutes in the hot tub at a time. Children are more sensitive to temperature changes than adults and can't dissipate heat as well, so they can quickly overheat. Children must be supervised by an adult.
• Anyone with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure or any serious illness should consult with doctor before entering the Hot Tub.
• Please do not use soaps or oils in Spa.

> Glamping tent:
• In order to maintain a clean and invigorating atmosphere for our valued guests, we kindly request that smoking, pets, shoes, and damp clothing be refrained from being brought inside the tent.

> Smoking:
• No smoking is allowed in the home and inside tent
• Smoking is permitted OUTSIDE ONLY with doors and windows closed
• If smoking odor is detected after check out, an extra cleaning fee of $350 will be charged to eliminate the odor.

> Pet policy:
• Maximum of 3 dogs, each weighs less than 50lbs is allowed. Please notify host before bringing pets. Pet fee applies.
• Sorry, cats are not allowed
• Strictly no pets are allowed on the couch, bed or inside the tent and in the swimming pool.
• Do not leave pets unattended
• Please make sure to clean up after your pets

> Security Cameras:
• Please note that there are NO security cameras inside the house or garage/ gameroom. To ensure security, one door bell camera and two outdoor cameras are installed – one at the front of the house by the driveway and the other in the backyard. Cameras are tuned on and are activated by motion sensor.

> Number of guests:
• Please inform the host if the number of guests in your booking has changed prior to check in. Extra guest fee is charged per night for bookings exceeding 10 guests.
> Property use:
• No glitter, silly strings and play dough. Extra cleaning fees will apply if extra cleaning is required.
• No open flames inside the house. Fire only in the fire pits.
• No tampering with electrical, security devices such as security camera or internet service. Violators will be evicted without refund.
• No rearranging of furniture.
In order to keep the house clean and energy efficient, please turn off the AC in the game room when it is not in use. Additionally, keep the sliding door and tent closed AT ALL TIMES to prevent dust and bugs from entering.

> Broken Items:
• We understand that accidents happen. If anything breaks, please let us know so we can send someone to fix it or replace it as soon as possible.
> Lake:
• The Terra Lago Lake is a NON-CONTACT body of water
• NO ONE is allowed to be in the water at any time. Swimming in the lake is strictly prohibited by the Riverside County Health Department.
• No renters/guests are allowed to use any watercraft on the lake
• Any guests observed in the lake or using the lake will be asked to leave the area & may be cited and fined by HOA.

Additional fees will apply for:
• HOA citation incurred by guests
• Smoking policy violation
• Pet policy violation
• Deep cleaning, biohazard cleanup
• Early check in and late check out without approval
• Towel and/or linen damage or loss
• Damaged and Missing items

LIABILITY WAIVER:
You understand that swimming is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming may present to children who are not carefully supervised.
Renter shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the property owner, its respective affiliates and partners from and against all demands, suits, judgments, settlements, claims, damages to persons and/or property, fines, liens, losses, and other liabilities, including attorneys' fees arising out of or in any way related to your stay in our property and its surrounding land including claims for loss or damage to any property or for death or injury to any individual.
All the homes are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or their facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
If you leave any items behind, we will not be responsible for the item(s), and we will not be responsible for shipping them to you.
By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to the property.
